The Camp
Edmund Lake Lodge is the only camp on this huge lake.
Like many other guests who return year after year, once
you spend time at Edmund Lake Lodge and experience the Manitoba wilderness and
trophy pike fishing
you, too, will come again for the best trophy pike
fishing in North America.

Part of the God's River System, the Red Sucker
River flows from SE to NW through Edmund Lake and
refreshes the hundreds of bays, islands,
rocky reefs and shallow weed beds that
provide world class trophy pike fishing all
season long.

fresh water fishing! |
Find out about Edmund Lake
Lodge which is located in northeastern
Manitoba on a 12 x 12 mile, island studded
wilderness lake. Edmund Lake produces world class
trophy northern pike over 41 inches in
length; and northern pike over 50 inches are
caught nearly every year. Good catch and release practices,
little fishing pressure, and a respect for
the resource ensures a rewarding fishing
experience for our guests. See for
yourself... a trip to Edmund Lake Lodge is
an unforgettable world class northern
pike fishing opportunity. Many
guests return year after year to fish for
these world class sized northern pike... and
the walleye fishing is fabulous!
The Edmund Lake camp has
12 cabins with bedding supplied, hot/cold
water, showers, beds, heaters and screened
in porches. You bring your own food
and beverages, cook for yourself in the main
lodge where you can also store your food and
sign out food supplies for a fee. The
lodge provides a nice atmosphere for meeting
other guests, dining, having coffee and
relaxing.
There will
be a staff person at the camp but this is a
"do your own thing" fishing experience... no
set times for meals, stay in camp all day if
you please, make your own bed each morning
(or not!), fix meals whenever you wish.
You can keep walleyes under 18 inches for
meals but no walleyes are kept overnight for
next day's meals. Visit the
NEWS PAGE for updated info.
The new boats
are 16ft. with 20HP Yamaha
motors. Each boat has a measuring
board to record verify Master Angler Award
measurements. Basic lake maps, fishing
tackle and gear are available on a limited
basis. To keep weight down
guests are advised to bring only essential
food, clothing and fishing gear for either a
4 day or 8 day trip. Licenses
available at the camp, and a radiophone is
on site.
World class
trophy pike fishing at Edmund Lake Lodge is,
by many of our guests, looked
upon as not only a fantastic trip but also
as a privilege. To spend time catching
such high quality walleye and northern
pike in a surreal world of woods and
waters, rock and sky turns the fishing
dreams into reality. If you would like
the opportunity to be one of the fortunate
fishermen who get to explore northern Manitoba and this very
special part of the world contact us soon...
and turn your fishing dreams into reality.
